Add your first recipe

You don’t have to type a recipe out by hand. KookItUp reads it for you, three ways.

Paste a link

Copy a link from a recipe blog, YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, then paste it into KookItUp. It reads the page or the video and pulls out the ingredients and steps. If the video’s description already has the full method, that’s all it needs. If not, KookItUp only looks at the transcript when it has to, so it’s never wasteful.

Snap a photo

Got a cookbook, a handwritten card, or a screenshot? Take a photo and KookItUp turns it into a real, editable recipe.

Type it out

Sometimes it’s just faster to type or paste the text yourself, straight from memory or a text message. That works too.

After it’s in

Once a recipe is saved, you can tweak servings, add your own notes for next time, and jump straight into Cook mode when you’re ready to make it.
